Customer Reviews
-
The three light tones are what I use most, even more than the magnification. Cool to judge the real shade of the composite, warm when I've been at it for hours and my eyes start complaining. I didn't expect that one button to matter so much.
-
I do brows and microblading. The headband tilts, so I set it exactly where I want and I'm not craning my neck. That's what made it beat the others I tried.
-
Very good for electronics. Six lenses is more than enough coverage and they swap without tools. Docking a star because the lenses are acrylic and you have to be gentle cleaning them, they're not glass.
-
I'm a paediatric dentist. Going to a light loupe with its own light changed my posture. I used to end the day with my traps like rock.
-
Does exactly what I bought it for, which is checking solder joints. Battery holds up well. Only gripe is the charge indicator is four little dots and I never really know how much is left.
-
Dental technician. Being able to move between six magnifications without taking anything off my neck is what sets it apart from the bench magnifier I had.
-
Gave it to my mum, who has early macular degeneration. She reads the paper again. Worth it for that alone.
-
The optics are fine and the light is strong, no complaints there. But the headband is rigid plastic and with my big head it pinches at the temples after an hour and a half. If it fits you, it's an excellent buy.
-
Handmade jewellery. Setting small stones was the part I dreaded. With 3x and both hands free it's not a struggle anymore.
-
Wound care nurse. For removing sutures and seeing wound edges it's a real help, and being light I can wear it the whole shift.
-
Sewing and alterations. Threading fine needles stopped being the drama of the day. My husband already steals it for his fishing tackle.
-
Good buy. What I value most is the weight, you really notice it. Four stars because the lenses scratch if you don't put them back in the case, you have to be disciplined.
-
Board repair and microsoldering. The six lenses let me step up as the job demands without changing kit. For the size of it, it's surprising.
-
I restore wall clocks. With the 4x I can see the wheel teeth without moving the piece. It weighs so little that sometimes I forget I have it on.
-
I run a bookbinding workshop and sew by hand. The 2x is comfortable all session and I only go to 3x for the cords. The working distance is generous, I'm not pressed up against the book.
-
Bought it for cross stitch. Six lenses is overkill for me, I use three, but it's nice to have the choice. Charges off any phone cable.
-
Acrylic nails. Cleans up easily and the band doesn't flatten my hair, which sounds silly until you're with clients all day.
-
Lash extensions. The 2.5x is my sweet spot and the neutral light lets me see the true tone of the hair. Three months in and it's like day one.
-
I repair musical instruments, mostly tuning pegs and bridges. Seeing the wood grain this clearly has saved me more than one mistake.
-
Tattoo artist. For fine microrealism detail it's a huge help. I run the light at full and it doesn't bother my eyes.
-
Stamp collecting. I catch repairs and thinning in the paper that used to slip past me. And the lens case protects them well, fits in the drawer.
-
N scale model railway. Parts I genuinely couldn't see. With the 4x I fit couplers without losing my mind.
-
Podiatrist. With the warm light I see the nail bed better and tire less than with the cool one. I charge it once a week and it's plenty.
